On Saturday November 1st the Otherland Speculative Fiction Boook Club meets to discuss "The Slave And The Free" by Suzy McKee Charnas. This volume entails the first two books of her Holdfast series, "Walk to the End of the World" and "Motherlines".

Of special note:

* Due to the last Friday of the  month being Halloween, we've switched to the Saturday instead. The discussion will start at 7 p.m. (i.e. half an hour earlier than usual)

* This book is part of the "recommended reading" list for our December book club (which will again be in the "Khatru" symposium, this time with added recommendations).

Please remember that we ask everyone:

* to register beforehand (email bookclub@otherland-berlin.de) and please cancel if it turns out you can't make it)

* only come if you're feeling healthy, to avoid spreading around anything other than ideas and opinions
